1. Who we are

MARKX Limited is the data controller for personal data collected through Loop. We are incorporated in the United Arab Emirates. Loop is a paid media sandbox product operated by MARKX Limited.

2. Data we collect

When you create an account we collect:

• Name: first name and, optionally, last name;
• Email address: used to identify your account and for essential communications;
• Password: stored in encrypted form by our authentication provider (Clerk); we never see your plaintext password;
• Usage data: campaign configurations, simulation results, and other content you create within Loop, stored to provide the service.

We do not collect payment card details directly. Any billing is handled by our payment processor (Stripe) under their own privacy policy.

• To create and manage your account;
• To provide, maintain, and improve the Loop platform;
• To send you essential service communications (e.g. email verification, account notices);
• To process subscription payments where applicable;
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service;
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract: processing your name and email is necessary to provide the Loop service you signed up for;
• Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve the platform;
• Legal obligation: where we are required to retain or disclose data by law.

5. Data storage & security

Your data is stored by Supabase (database, hosted in the Sydney, Australia region) and Clerk (authentication). Pseudonymous product-analytics events are processed by PostHog (United States); see Cookies & analytics below for how consent applies. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it longer by law (e.g. billing records).

You have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Correction: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten");
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
• Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.

9. Cookies & analytics

Loop uses essential session cookies to keep you logged in. Browser analytics, the page views and in-app interactions captured in your browser, require your consent: they stay off until you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can decline or withdraw consent at any time. Separately, we record pseudonymous server-side product and operational events tied to your account actions (for example creating a campaign, running a simulation, or changing a plan) under our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving Loop; these are keyed to your account id, never to your campaign content or messages. Analytics are processed by PostHog (United States). We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run session recordings, and we do not sell your data.

Loop is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within Loop. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
